We are seeking people to review applications for our flexible funding. We have four streams of funding - FAIRifying Training Resources, Community Activities, Tools and Frameworks and Professional Development.

Reviewers are needed specifically for our larger project applications under the FAIRifying Training Resources (Fund 1) and Tools and Frameworks (Fund 3) which have first closing dates at the end of September 2026. For more details of the funds see https://drtp-skills.ac.uk/funds/.

You do not necessarily need to have experience of reviewing, but you would need to have knowledge of the area.

Payment

Reviewers may optionally apply to receive a standard day rate of payment (currently £170/day for panellists and £230/day for chairs). However, for anyone receiving more than £500 payment in a year from the University of Edinburgh, the process is more complex - please get in touch if you have any queries on this.
